On February 10, 2023, AMHS student Abdulmalik Owolabi was recognized by the Decatur Rotary Club as a PAGE STAR Student. The PAGE Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors Georgia’s highest achieving high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. Student STARS have the highest SAT scores in their graduating class and meet other program requirements, including being in the top ten percent of their graduating class. Abdulmalik named AMHS Engineering teacher Mr. Itamar Robertsas his STAR Teacher. Congratulations to Abdulmalik and Mr. Roberts!
